How is it that I can do everything else BUT my piled up Homework (hmwk)? WHO KNOWS! Last week was full of interesting thoughts on multicultural education... made an anemometer (thanks to toni and bobbi) and interviewed our friend Carlos for a biography... plus math, science and other interesting stuff...oh and got a good score on a test that I was fretting about! woot woot... anyway I hope you find your self having a great week.

So with all the school and hoopla... i managed to survive! this week was only one of the busiest of my life... not to mention I got denied access to the payson PUBLIC library... if my address says payson.. I should be able to use the library!!
Lance has turned in all of his paperwork for his journeyman test and he is just studying really hard in hopes to pass... he is working so so hard.
I decided that I can eat taco soup everyday (not that I have) thanks to my great friend Kari for the recipe...
oh and last week I got stung by a hornet! yep a real hornet and I cried like a baby... for real! But I had to put my good face on because it was like 5 minutes before we had to leave for church. All in all it is a good thing I got stung because Lance is allergic to bee/hornet stings..
I feel like life is going by so fast! I was looking at my "to-do" list today thinking MAN IT IS ALREADY THURSDAY!! one thing that did save my life was a day off from work.. I was able to get homework done and some tidy the house stuff...
Sometimes I feel like Lance and I are in a winter rut.. like planning our lives around our t.v. schedules? well we watch all of our shows the next day on the Internet because our lovely city of payson... doesn't have comast where we live!
Also.. Lance and I have been married for six months and it was about a year ago we went ring shopping...
Oh and I have to tell the FUNNIEST thing that happened in my Sunbeam class... The sunbeams are off the wall and I love them .. there are these two girls in the class that keep me cracking up the whole time ... We will call them Sally and Jane
Let me set up the scenario.. we are waiting to go into sharing time and Jane is showing everyone her rub- on tattoo... (Tinkerbell)
Sally asks "is that a real tattoo or is it a fake one?"
Jane: "IT IS REAL"
Sally: "well did your mom try and scrub it off really really hard?"
Jane: "yep it's real"
Sally: "Well mine isn't" (proceeds to show her own rub-on tattoo (a hoarse) lifting up her sleeve...)
HA HA ... well i guess if you didn't think it was funny you just should have been there...

UPDATE

This weekend Lance and I finally saw Twilight... and we loved it! I have only read the first two books and after Lance saw the movie- we had to go borrow Twilight from my mom.

Still no sign of Doc... we have him chipped so our hopes are still high. Lance found an article on KSL.com about a woman who found her dog after 40 and some odd days ... so we just hope he can find his way home.
I started school last week and am taking 7 classes... it's going to be a busy semester! Lots of reading and writing... plus I am taking my last math class... (hopefully ever) from the math department which is exciting! I see the end is almost near!
One of our new years resolutions is to get in shape! (who's isn't right?) well lance wants to up the stakes by putting a bet on who can loose 10 LBS first.... they get a prize. The prize is still up in the air but I think I know what Lance want... he's been looking up duck boats and dreaming for at least a month!
Lance is going to TEXAS this week for a conference and I know he is going to have fun! He really likes all of his co-workers and I am very grateful that he loves his job. He has said on many occasions " I really love my job!" It's so good to know that he is happy with something that he is good at and knows with out a doubt he could do it for the rest of his working career. He is getting ready to take is journeyman test and he is learning a lot working on industrial sites.
And finally... my quest in life is to start making different recipes ... we started with a couple weeks ago.. tAcOs! ... so if anyone had any FAIL PROOF recipes ... send them on by! (seriously).

So, after telling AT&T who's boss, we finally got our internet card figured out... what a pest it is to think you have something like a warranty (that you pay for) and have them deny and deny you that something is broken. Oh when you have only had it for a little over 2 months and it is not working right in front of your eyes?! Anyway... we got it all figured out and I am now able to update our blog.
So... Christmas was... interesting. Our awesome dog Doc ran away on Christmas eve and we were not able to go out to Lance's parents for the holiday for fear he would come back when we were not there. Christmas was great, Lance and I got each other clothes for (which were much needed, I think) and we were able to spend time with both families this year. Lance's parents were able to come out the day after Christmas... It was so nice to have dinner at our house with them, we finally felt the Christmas spirit. We went and saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button... which I LOVED! The break from school has been nice, I have been deep cleaning our house. Also, the Bradley/Rands craze is knitting scarves... we bought some looms (like the hat making ones, but different) and I have been going crazy.. buying yarn and making scarves. It's really easy, and I think they look cute. I have also been reading harry potter, I finished #6 and started #7 and I am totally a HP addict.
There is still no sign of Doc, but we have been calling the local vet hospital, visiting the animal shelters and keeping in contact with the dog catcher. Our hopes are still high that we may find or that he will come home.

We had such a good time putting up our tree! I really feel like it is Christmas now that we have a tree and I only have one final left! wahoo! it's only turning in a 30+ page paper... no big thing! NOT!!! Anyway, I'll try and stay a little more updated... MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Oh p.s. Lance and I spoke in church this past sunday and we actually had a GREAT Time!

Oh Christmas TREE!!!

We have finally gotten our Christmas tree up and it looks so CUTE! We got some hand me down ornaments from my sister in law and my mother in law and they are SO cute. I am grateful to have such giving in laws! So we cut down our tree in Hells Canyon and we had a hard time deciding which one to chop down, there were so many. So we finally decided on one and it looks great. I really like the Ames tradition to cut down a Christmas tree and it was a lot of fun! We got our tag from the forest service. It really feels like Christmas now that we have a tree, I love the ambiance of the lights when it is early in the morning or late at night.

2 weddings in 90 days

The Bradley house is finally at rest... 2 weddings in 90 days... Leave it to us to have something like that.. anyway.. the wedding was interesting. We got late start because the grooms parents were late and it was hard to see my sister get married because she is so young! Everything went well and I hope she is having fun! This is my last week of student teaching and I am learning so much about ancient civilizations it is interesting to see how the kids are so fascinated and really connecting with the lessons!! Lance has been so great! This weekend he cleaned out a lot of our clutter and he is just so great! I love him so so so much. Right now my stress release is watching Grey's Anatomy... season two ... disc four haha .. anyway off to do homework- gotta love it baby!!

As my mantra always is.... MY LIFE IS CRAZY!!! I am glad that I have a great husband to cheer me on! He has been making dinner this whole week and I am loving every minute. I am just wanted to get the next year and a half to get over so I can be a teacher finally! So, anyway kelsey is getting married on friday, we'll have to see how it goes...

So life is going crazy!! I really am just doing school, homework, work and thinking of interesting meals to make. Any suggestions just let me know! I think lance is getting sick of the 4 things I can make, all except one comes out of a box. Anyway, I did something out of the ordinary for me and make cupcakes, it reminded me of good ol' parkway and my best room-mate ever, OLIVIA! Then I started missing my parkway shower, that shower was soo good and stayed warm for hours.. anyway I am turning into a super nerd. I really am. Like making up songs to times tables and like getting ready to be a teacher stuff. I am feeling total nerd.
Oh and Abby got baptized! my brother got to baptized her! It was really special.. oh and wait there's more... Kelsey is getting married... that's all I have time to write.. to be continued...

I really love this one! What was particularly cool was the harley guys behind us

they got so close to those bison it was insane! They followed us around the

loop we made and it was fun getting to know them. They are just 4 guys from oklahoma and they just deiceded to make a trip of it. They all took turns driving the truck/trailor and riding their sweet rides! -besides it being our honeymoon I loved the BISON the most!!

The loop was supposed to take you 2 hour to drive and it took us about 4

because we couldn't pass up all of the wildlife and the beautiful scenes!!!

Then.. it's sorta blury but that was us the first night there! We just set up camp! whaoo! I really felt like a bonified couple now that we have gone camping!

Well it's almost been a month since I've blogged!! Luckily Lance and I got some wireless Internet because our nice town of PAYSON doesn't get any high speed anything. Crazy. Well we are back into reality from our honeymoon and we are just going crazy busy with work and me-school. So we will have some pictures up soon when I upload them!! But we went to Yellowstone and a place in Park City called The Chateaux at Silver Lake. In Yellowstone we saw tons of Bison and Elk. It was a great time going on our first trip as a couple! I love Lance and he works so hard! He is such a great guy!

This is our dog DOC. He's a German Wire Hair and is so cute. He is very loving and really likes to show you his toy (like the one in his mouth). He's a bird dog and Lance does dog trials and hunts with him. I just like to teach him tricks like "shaking" ... that's the only one so far... but Lance teaches him all of the discipline. He is such a good dog and we really like having him around!!!

This is Lance.. what a hunk!

This was were the Ames Family Reunion took place. BEAUTIFUL!! It's this lodge that is smack dab by a canyon of sorts and is very very pretty. You are just right up against the rock and it was very nice. The place was called Camelot and was just past Strawberry.

This was my first time fishing... and I really like it. Lance likes to fly fish.. none of the worm on a hook stuff. He is really good at it and he was very patient in teaching me. He even bought me some waiters and boots I could go with him. We didn't catch anything, and weren't really expecting to, Lance was just showing me the reel. We were at his family reunion in this pic.. and i love my face .. haha.

I've just jumped on the Blog Bandwagon-and can't wait for the addiction to start...
Today has been a glorious day... I got a facial and put in my two weeks notice at the hospital! Wha-hooo seriously the hospital has sucked the life out of me for the last two years and I can not wait to NOT work there. I am a sucker though because I agreed to work Monday, Wednesday, Friday for 4 hours till Lance and I get married...and so they aren't left high and dry to train someone to do my boring, simplistic job. Also, today Lance and I ordered the flowers for our wedding and now that we are under a month away it's all seems to be real...
Lance is an Electrician and he loves his job and the guys he works with. He is such a hard worker and I really admire that about him. He is fully invested in everything he does and I thank him everyday for helping me try new things ... such as Wakeboarding!
We love our dog Doc, he is a German Wire-Hair hunting bird dog. So those of you who know me.. know that I don't hunt, thus the dog is really Lances ... but I love him all the same. He is a super loving dog that likes to cuddle and he is just so cute.. despite what people say, we love him. It was so funny last summer, we were on a hike and a little girl points at Doc and screams "THAT'S AN UGLY DOG MAMA!!" even though our feelings were a little dinged by it.. we still love him...
